1. Who is an Associate?
An Associate is someone who downloads the Avoko App and registers to use it to add, share or apply for jobs.
2. Who is a Hiring Manager?
A Hiring Manager relates to the internal HR function within the organisation who is looking to hire.
3. What is an Avoko Expert?
An Avoko Expert is an approved resource (Subject Matter Expert) who will have substantial experience within their relevant business sector. The SME will independently vet and screen any CV’s received for a role. They will then only send the highest calibre CV’s to the Hiring Manager.
4. How does Avoko work?
Our aim is to provide better quality talent, quicker and more efficiently whilst also lowering hiring costs.
Avoko is a unique platform where you can share vacancies with your professional contacts to help source genuine ‘referral hires’; Vast research validates that referred candidates are generally much better quality and have far better success rates than traditional hiring methods. Avoko provides these referrals by accessing hidden and better quality talent pools through genuinely advocated recommendations.

5. Do I need to download the Avoko App?
Yes, you will need to download the App in order to take advantage of all the features and benefits we have to offer.
6. How long does it take to create an account and become an Associate?
It takes less than 2 minutes to become an Avoko Associate so join us now!
7. Will my personal data be secure?
All data stored is compliant with the current Data Protection regulations and follows the best practice as defined by the Information Commissioners Office.
8. Do I have to pay to use the Avoko App?
No, the App is completely free to use, you can actually earn cash rewards by using it though!
9. What makes Avoko so different from a traditional agency?
Avoko uses your personal recommendations of colleagues who you believe are a great fit for any outstanding roles. You can share roles Avako sends you and share your own internal opportunities with colleagues who you know are suitable, they can then indicate their interest in the role by joining Avoko too. No long forms to fill in, no ‘interview’ with an agency, just simple referrals from a trusted colleague.
Avoko’s Subject Matter Experts will then independently vet each CV received, sending forward only the highest calibre CV’s to the Hiring Managers, saving them both time and money.

11. What sectors does Avoko operate in?
Avoko has launched specialising in the contractor space, specifically for Information Technology and Banking and Finance.
We are in the process of opening up new sectors so watch this space.
12. Where do the jobs originate from?
All of the vacancies within Avoko will have originated directly from its Associates, so people just like you and your networks!
Avoko will also have some exclusive relationships directly with employers and will add and share these vacancies with all Associates.
13. What functionality does the App have?
- Real-time statuses, simple notifications and chat
- Timelines that show all related network activity
- Activities showing the number of connections that jobs have been shared with and the CV’s submitted
- Notification alerts with visual icons for all key activities – meaning you are always kept in the loop
- Chat functionality includes group chat to communicate easily within your networks
- Rewards show all your successful referrals, total earned and fund balance available.
14. How can I earn from using the App?
Simply start building your network and then add and share jobs. Each time a member of your network is successful in filling a role either by applying or sharing, you will earn!

15. In 'job list', what is the difference between 'Exclusive Jobs' and 'Broadcast Jobs'?
‘Exclusive jobs’ are roles added by you or your trusted network, these roles are only visible to you and your network for a period of 7 days.
‘Broadcast jobs’ are roles either added or shared by Avoko with ALL Associates.
16. In 'Jobs Shared', what is the difference between 'Shared by me' and 'Added by me'?
‘Shared by me’ are roles you have shared from your job list.
‘Added by me’ are roles which you have originated from your organisation and added, you can then share within your network.
17. What happens if the person hired was referred from a chain in my network?
In this case, the cash reward would be split equally between the number of Associates involved. Avoko limits the chain to only 3 shares, this means we can keep the referrals relevant and the power of advocacy is retained.
18. What happens if I try to share a job with someone who has already received it from another Associate?
We have unique logic within the platform that tracks each role to ensure this doesn’t happen.
19. How can I keep track of all my activity?
Easy, our App will do all of this for you!
20. Is there any limit to how much I can earn?
No, there are no limits.
21. How do I get paid?
Use the App to either build up your fund or simply cash out into your bank account.
22. Is the App available on all devices?
The App has been specifically developed and optimised to be used on Apple and Android mobile phones. It will not provide all the functionality and a great user experience on other devices like iPads and tablets. The App also needs to be able to access your phone contacts so you can invite, share jobs and chat etc with your networks.
